Author's Biography
Siddharth Katragadda was born in India. He came to America to pursue his masters degree in 1995. He currently works as a Software Engineer in San Diego, California. His first book, "Dark Rooms", was published in September 2002 and won the runner-up award at the San Diego Book Awards for Poetry. His second book, "The Other Wife", came out in 2003 and was also a finalist at the San Diego Book Awards.
His poems have appeared in A Generation Defining Itself, Golden Thoughts, America at the Millennium and Sulekha. He is the winner of two Editor's Choice Awards awarded by the International Library of Poetry. His first Novel is awaiting publication, an excerpt of which was published in Writer's Monthly.
He comes from a family rich in Artistic heritage. His great grandfather, Tripuraneni Ramaswamy Choudhuri was a revolutionary poet during India's Freedom Struggle.Here is his Fact Bite
